Feeling proud 💚 of our latest WTG-project in Silverstone Port! M/V Caribbean Harmony brought tower sections for Sandbacka wind farm, all in one go.   At the same time, the port logistics of Finland's largest onshore wind farm, that will be built on Lestijärvi, are progressing well on schedule.   Fourteen WTGs will be built in the Sandbacka wind farm, located in Uusikaarlepyy and Vöyri areas. Unloading of tower section went excellently; operations started on Friday afternoon, and continued over the weekend, being ready on Monday, exactly 3 days after the commencing of operations.   The successful outcome was once again possible due to excellent cooperation between Kokkola Port, SILVASTI and Rauanheimo. The infrastructure must also be in order; We have invested in port storage fields, warehouses, fairways and crane capacity.   Components of the Sandbacka wind farm will arrive in Kokkola on four more ships. Road transport from the port of Kokkola will start in November. #networking #greenenergy #renewables

TGP has recently delivered a cargo of five over-dimensional reels from Newcastle, UK, to Açu Port, Brazil!   Following a smooth landing in Rio de Janeiro, our TGP Brazil team managed the onward transport to Açu Port by barge, the result of the team’s precise engineering planning.   The end result: the five reels, each weighing between 190-260 tonnes, were successfully shipped from the North Sea to the South Atlantic, thanks to our expert teams in both countries.   At TGP, we don’t just manage logistics; we engineer success!

UK: Marr Contracting has been awarded the contract to deliver specialised heavy lifting crane services on the construction of HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd Old Oak Common Station superstructure. The contract was awarded by the Balfour Beatty VINCI SYSTRA Joint Venture (BBVSJV) after a rigorous and competitive tender process. Leveraging Marr’s expertise as global tower crane specialists will add value to BBVSJV’s world-class strengths in the design, management and delivery of complex infrastructure projects. Collaborating with BBVSJV’s engineering and construction team, Marr developed a three-crane solution − including two 330-tonne capacity #M2480D heavy lift luffing cranes, supported by a 96-tonne capacity M860DX – that declutters the site and takes complexity out of cranage and construction on the project. “Drawing on Marr’s experience in successfully delivering similar projects in Australia, we have demonstrated that there is an alternative approach to projects of this scale that is safer and more efficient. We are excited to introduce our technology, which has only recently become readily available in the UK, to this project” said Steve Ryder, General Manager – International, Marr Contracting. “Key to the successes we have achieved for end-clients like Sydney Metro and Cross River Rail in Australia has been the willingness of project teams to engage us early in the planning stages. Similarly, BBVSJV’s innovative thinking about how cranage solutions can be procured and delivered is a potentially game-changing approach for this important infrastructure project,” said Marr’s Managing Director, Simon Marr. We have started FY25 with a strong first quarter, with increased copper and iron ore production. Some of the highlights include: ✔️ Copper production up 4% for the quarter due to higher grade through the concentrator at Escondida and solid operational performance at Copper South Australia. ✔️ Stage 1 of our Jansen potash project is now 58% complete, keeping us on track to become one of the world’s biggest potash producers. ✔️ Our Western Australia Iron Ore business increased production by 3%.
