About us
Provenance Vineyards began in 1999 producing Rutherford Cabernets. Its founders had the vision to produce fine wines by discovering Napa Valley vineyards of unique "provenance" or origin. Provenance Vineyards wine is honored to have received multiple 90+ ratings by acclaimed reviewers on all varietals. We invite you to experience the wine and explore your sense of place. Provenance Vineyards is owned and operated by Allen Lombardi and the Lombardi Family. As an avid home winemaker, Allen began sourcing and selling wine grapes to wineries around the country in the late 1990s. He established business partnerships in Lodi in 2001 while searching the internet for a source of California wine grapes for his customers in his hometown of New Jersey. He discovered a Central California town with a wealth of high-quality vineyards. It was a match made in heaven. Allen fell in love with the quality of Lodi grapes and the rest was history. Allen and the Lombardi family continue to work, live, and make great wines at Provenance Vineyards. Allen produces well-appointed, approachable wine of specific origin. Our wines are crafted with bold character and rich, ripe flavors. At Provenance Vineyards, each member of the team holds the belief that enjoying wines should be easy, and they are best served with friends, laughter, and quality conversation.
