As women in the workforce, we juggle many responsibilities and challenges – balancing professional ambitions with personal commitments. Let's commit to nurturing our health and wellness, allowing ourselves the space to recharge and thrive. When we prioritize our well-being, we set a powerful example for our teams, demonstrating that self-care is integral to sustainable success. I recently sat down with long-time journalist Patti Payne to discuss how women in the workforce can put their health first. We also touch on my journey in health care, my time at Swedish, and the trials and benefits women face in leadership roles. 🎧Listen to the conversation: https://lnkd.in/g9SzryhU ▶️Tune in to more episodes of A Healthier Future: https://lnkd.in/gvZNmYq9 #women #leadership #health #wellbeing
About us
Every day, 119,000 compassionate caregivers serve patients and communities through Providence St. Joseph Health, a national, Catholic, not-for-profit health system, driven by a belief that health is a human right. Rooted in the founding missions of the Sisters of Providence and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, courageous women ahead of their time who brought health care and other social services to the American West when it was still a rugged, untamed frontier, we share a singular commitment to improve the health of all. From our earliest days, we’ve met new challenges by pioneering new solutions. Today, with 51 hospitals, 829 clinics and a comprehensive range of services, we strive to meet the needs of communities across Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington through a diverse family of Catholic, other faith-based and mission-driven secular organizations. Now, as we face a new frontier—a changing health care landscape—we draw upon their pioneering and compassionate spirit to plan for the next century of health for a better world, especially for the poor and vulnerable. If you need treatment, please visit www.providence.org to locate a health care provider.

Congratulations to Semira Singh for being recognized as a 2025 Modern Healthcare 40 under 40 honoree. Semira began her journey at Providence in 2008 and currently serves as the Director of Interoperability. Under her leadership, Providence became one of the first U.S. health systems to implement national FHIR data standards, boosting quality gap closure by 40% across a portfolio of 130 value-based contracts. This infrastructure standardizes data exchange between payers and providers ensuring more informed decision-making for clinicians. “If I can walk away from this in 30 years and I've been able to make even a smidge of an impact in the industry, I will say my work here is done. If this means that patients can get faster access to their data, or clinicians have access to tests or results at the point of care with the patient in the room, and that allows them to make the best decisions possible, I will be happy." -Semira Singh, Director of Interoperability ▶️ Learn more: http://ms.spr.ly/6041UlOaT #healthcareleaders #healthcareinnovation
