Representative Connolly should not cooperate with Musk's so-called Department of Government Efficiency. These efforts will be met with strong legal pushback. DOGE’s work under the Trump administration will violate the Federal Advisory Committee Act, which aims to ensure that advice provided by advisory committees to the government is objective and accessible to the public. DOGE will also lead to self-dealing and insider trading as unelected small government warriors decide and make recommendations on which government programs and contracts to suspend and invalidate. Rep. Connolly should not normalize this illegal effort by President Trump and his billionaire friends. https://ow.ly/i7R750UFHJM

Protecting Public Employees Who Protect Our Environment
About us
PEER supports current and former government employees who are courageous and idealistic enough to seek a higher standard of environmental ethics and scientific integrity within their agency. We do this by defending whistleblowers, shinning the light on improper or illegal government actions, working to improve laws and regulations, and supporting the work of other organizations.
