Public Works Partners is excited to see that New York City Economic Development Corporation's RFP to reactivate the City-owned sites in East New York is now live. We are proud to have supported this milestone through our pre-design engagement work. Leading community visioning sessions, we collaborated with local residents to assess their priorities for the future of these vital sites, ensuring the process was deeply rooted in the voices of the community. The valuable insights from these sessions are now included in Appendix A of the RFP, setting the stage for a transformative future. It’s been a privilege to collaborate with NYCEDC, Council Member Sandy Nurse, and the East New York community on this vital initiative, which has the potential to bring meaningful change to the area. We’re excited to see these projects take shape and invite you to explore the RFP and our report for more details on the vision and opportunities ahead. https://lnkd.in/eZkFuDAA

🚨 NYC Congestion Pricing Is Here 🚨 Love it or hate it, congestion pricing is officially live—and it’s a game-changer for getting around the city. The toll is designed to cut gridlock, reduce pollution, and fund major transit improvements. So how can we take advantage of it? From rethinking your route to hopping on a bike (or skateboard!) and showing love to local businesses, there are plenty of ways to make this policy work for you. Check out Director Moe Magali's latest blog post to learn tips for thriving with congestion pricing! 🚲🚇 #NYCTransit #CongestionPricing #SustainableCities #UrbanPlanning https://lnkd.in/gFk76g-K
