The #AidTransparency Index pushes donors to publish aid and development data – data that can be used to inform better decision making. At the launch last week, Christophe Tocco from USAID spoke on why this matters.

The sovereign (public sector) portfolios of development banks are top performers in the #AidTransparency Index. African Development Bank Group IDB Invest and The World Bank IDA all rank in the top 5. Non-sovereign (private) portfolios generally do less well. https://lnkd.in/e9Xs8yxB #2024Index

We assessed 26 bilateral agencies on their #AidTransparency for the #2024Index Millennium Challenge Corporation topped the list with a score of 93.0, followed by Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in 2nd with 82.9 and Sida in 3rd with 75.4. More info: https://lnkd.in/e9Xs8yxB

A mixed review for US agencies in the 2024 Aid Transparency Index. Millennium Challenge Corporation topped the bilaterals and ranked 3rd overall while USAID kept its good position.
