Happy Earth Day! 🌎 While our communities have always been a number one priority for us, this year we made it our mission to dive deeper into our responsibilities as a business to care for our planet. Welcome, Thomas Bardin-Thomasset as our Sourcing and Impact Manager. Prior to this role, Thomas has been a driving force within Puesto for the last 3 years as the General Manager of our Mission Valley location and has already made an impact by partnering with Feeding San Diego to donate our extra food, starting 'Tupperware and Care' as well as 'BYOWB' (Bring Your Own Water Bottle), and many more initiatives to cut down our paper usage and overall waste. In preparation for Earth Day, we ran an internal contest to engage our teams in our sustainability efforts and in doing so we gathered a list of new ideas and initiatives that we are excited to roll out in the coming months! Congrats to Finn Weeks and his team of 'Green Champions' on winning the contest - their team won gift cards to Patagonia as well as a custom Puesto reusable tote bag! Bonus shout out to our teams who hosted a beach clean up this weekend and all our Puesto employees for getting active in caring for our planet.
