Hudson Schneider and Brandon Mar had a great time attending the ASABE Annual International Meeting (AIM) in Anaheim, CA. While there, they were part of the SRNLP 2024 cohort getting the chance to meet with other student leaders from around the country. They had the chance to attend various technical sessions, panel discussions led by leaders in our community, and connect with engineers from around the world. A huge thank you to Tyler Barzee for organizing and leading the group through the experience. Thank you so much to Evonik for their recent engagement with our club. Their informative presentation and generous facility tour provided invaluable insights into the industry. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn directly from an industry leader and explore their innovative workspace.

This past weekend, two of our members, Brandon Mar and Hudson Schneider, traveled to the University of Illinois for the Midwest regional rally for ASABE. They were able to experience and learn about cutting edge science and engineering through industry and lab tours. They also connected and networked with members of other student chapters attending. We are beyond grateful to the University of Illinois Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering for hosting this event. It was very well organized and had many insightful events and speakers. Thank you to the Purdue University Agricultural & Biological Engineering for supporting our visit. We are honored that our chapter was selected as the most deserving by the other chapters at the conference. Due to this nomination, we will attend the national convention in Anaheim, California this summer for ASABE - American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers.

Thank you so much to everyone who attended our presentation on essential software in Agricultural and Biological engineering last night. It was great to see such a strong turnout and enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills! A special thank you to Brandon for teaching AlphaFold and PyMOL and Eryk for teaching Excel Macros. We are looking forward to further developing these skills and exploring additional topics in the future!
