Our first officially delivered inbox farm is located at Rewe in Langenselbold near Frankfurt am Main. The operator, Mr Stoll, sells the container-grown lettuce, herbs and strawberries in his store. Customers of the Rewe supermarket can also buy PUR herb mixes and salad crackers in the store. Come to REWE-Stoll and test the PUR revolution of freshness! Unsere erste offiziell ausgelieferte Inbox-Farm steht bei Rewe in Langenselbold in der Nähe von Frankfurt am Main. Der Betreiber Herr Stoll vertreibt die im Container gewachsenen Salate, Kräuter und Erdbeeren in seinem Markt. Heute durften wir unser neues Mitglied PUR in Walldürn besuchen. Das Konzept von PUR kurz zusammengefast: Zum Umdenken anregen! Anbau, Produktion und Transport der alltäglichen Lebensmittel muss sich ändern. Mit der effektiven Nutzung von Fläche, umweltschonendem Anbau mit Einsparung von Wasser, keine Behandlung der Pflanzen mit chemische Pestiziden sowie Minimierung der Transportwege, machen wir den ersten Schritt für eine neue Art der Lebensmittelproduktion. 🌍 Amidst 2,193 exhibitors from 51 countries and 120,000 visitors from 149 nations, 37 innovative start-ups took center stage at EuroTier through the DLG e.V. - German Agricultural Society agrifood start-up programme and Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action #YoungInnovators programme. Tackling topics like sustainability, animal health, agtech, and robotics, these start-ups showcased groundbreaking solutions from early-stage concepts to market-ready innovations. ✨ The highlight? Thursday's Start-up Showcase was a dynamic celebration of agrifood innovation. It was a pleasure to see our DLG.prototype.club corporate challenge alums like Dr. Philipp Wree & Dominik Ewald from Fraunhofer IGD, Klaus-Herbert Rolf, Arne Bohl and Dr. Sebastian Beck from CLAAS, and Stefan Pecoroni from GEA Group. From farmers to researchers, and students, the ecosystem showed up in full force. 💡 The evening kicked off with an inspiring keynote by Robert Yaman followed by a lively discussion with Christian Schweizer (prototype.club) and Konstantin Kahle (Big Dutchman) on the power of business innovation networks. Then, the spotlight shifted to rapid-fire start-up pitches: 20 start-ups, 2 minutes each, 4 categories, live voting, and a €1000 cash prize. 🚀 🎉 Big congrats to Katharina Maria Hesseler Founder of Omegga, and her team for clinching the €1000 prize and a Silver Medal in the Innovation Awards.
