About us

Pursuit is a collection of inspiring, unforgettable adventure travel experiences in iconic locations such as Alaska, Montana, the Canadian Rockies, Las Vegas and Vancouver, B.C. We believe that collecting memories is far more important than collecting things. We share your longing to explore. To get out into the world in search of remarkable experiences. To stride eagerly through your bucket-list and tick off dreams fulfilled. This is what we call ‘living’. • From the colorful pebbles below to the towering peaks above, Lake McDonald's beauty has inspired awe for generations. And for nearly 65 years, Montana House — the Apgar artisan hub and shop steps from the shoreline — has helped visitors bring that feeling home. It's our honor to continue this tradition of Glacier artistry, as the historic venue and gathering space joins the Pursuit Collection. We look forward to sharing more moments of creation at Montana House in summer 2025. 🎨⛰️

  • This year, the Banff Jasper Collection made major strides in advancing sustainability across our properties: ✅ $305,000 invested in LED retrofits to enhance energy efficiency. ✅ Nearly $10,000 allocated to upgrade appliances to energy-efficient models. ✅ $7,000 spent on replacing a water-condensing unit, saving up to 17,280 liters of fresh water daily at Mount Royal Hotel. ✅ Nearly $10,000 dedicated to pipe insulation at Elk + Avenue to minimize heat loss and boost efficiency. And we’re just getting started. In 2025, we’ll launch a five-year sustainability roadmap with bold goals: 🌊 Reduce water use by 50%. 🚮 Cut per-guest landfill waste by 30%. 🌎 Slash carbon emissions by 50% by 2030, on the way to net-zero by 2050. • As we look back on the past year, we’re proud to reflect on the Banff Jasper Collection’s incredible efforts in fostering community, inclusivity, sustainability, and cultural preservation. 💙 2024 reminded us of the power of collective action. When the Jasper wildfires threatened our community, our team rose to the challenge: ✔️ Coordinating transportation for evacuees with Brewster buses, providing shelter and essentials, and donating $15,000 to the Jasper Community Team Society. ✔️ Supporting the community through $12,000 in volunteer-hour donations to local organizations, fostering meaningful connections. This year also marked incredible milestones in our commitment to inclusivity and honoring cultural heritage: ✔️ Raised $20,000 for Banff Pride through events like Mountaintop Pride and Drag Beer Voyage. ✔️ Strengthened Indigenous partnerships with new tours, training programs for 160 guides, and initiatives to honor cultural stories. At the heart of it all is our Promise to Place: a pledge to create meaningful impact for the people, communities, and landscapes we are privileged to serve. ✨ As we step into 2025, we carry forward these lessons of resilience, collaboration, and care. Thank you to every team member, partner, and guest who made this possible. Here’s to another year of making a difference! Read our full year-in-review story here: https://lnkd.in/gv-MYdYe
