Did you know that 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions in the EU are produced by the agricultural sector? This is due to an overdependence on fossil fuels for energy needs. Farmers often choose not to introduce new technologies or reduce their dependence on fossil fuels because they fear not being able to meet production volumes. 🍅The agricultural sector needs innovative and #sustainablesolutions, such as #agriPV technologies, which have multiple benefits. Due to the employment of #solarenergy, agriPV minimizes the use of fossil fuels in agriculture, but it also creates local #sociofinancialopportunities 🤝 and improves crop yields. ☀️The system is based on light spectrum engineering and real-time monitoring which allows the generation of a secure microclimate beneath the solar panels. 🌱Let’s meet the Green New Deal's decarbonisation goal by 2050 and develop a #sustainablefuture for agriculture!
