I am just a piece of metal. A thing. I am damaged. I am broken. And yet, I persevere. All around me, soldiers storm the beach. Normandy. France. I helped bring them here. I am a Jeep. A Willys. And I am what will help turn this war in our favor. Today is June 6, 1944. I am just over three years old. And yet, for the next 80 years, no one will forget the part I played here. It was a mighty endeavor. Many died, and we will always remember them as we won that struggle, but I tried to do my part. I am just a piece of metal, but I live on to tell the story. I persevere.
