Nicole Mata, Director of Health Benefits at Self-Insured Schools of California, was featured as a panelist on the Biden Cancer Moonshot: Mission Report webinar. Insightful study published by JAMA on the effectiveness of at home screening for colorectal cancer. In summary, participants who receive access to screening in the home (vs. traditional care) were 20pts+ higher in completion of the test and ~70% of participants who received a positive result completed a follow up colonoscopy within 6 months. Screening saves lives and Employers can take a leadership role in bringing high quality, low cost solutions to their Employees and Families.
