  • Have you struggled to get buy-in for a new SCADA system? We certainly have. Operators are skeptical by nature. You have to prove it to them. But how? One way would be to join us, Thursday 12/19 at 1pm EST for our next TechTalk forum. Katie Gruber of B&M Technical Service, Inc. will be leading our discussion. A stalwart in the wastewater industry in Wisconsin, Katie and B&M have introduced countless systems over the years. They've seen all of the ways expensive investments in new systems can struggle to gain traction. By the end of the presentation, you should feel comfortable addressing the common skepticism operators face when transitioning to SCADA systems with alarm dialers. Why are call out alarms often mistaken for "phantom" calls? What is the importance of responding to legitimate alerts? When you join the conversation, you will gain insights into how to build confidence in the new system, differentiate between real and false alarms, and ensure quick, effective responses to critical events Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about this critical issue facing our industry. And remember, saving your spot now ensures you're sent the recording if you get busy. https://lnkd.in/gz-d3aSf #scada #wastewater #changemanagement

Special thanks to Marc Pedrotti and R.E. Pedrotti for joining our TechTalk. Marc shared practical insights that #water and #wastewater operators need to know about the #cybersecurity threats they face. An outage can cause weeks or months of 24/7 manual processing at a facility. Think about the costs of that relative to some basic things you can do to prepare and plan. Cybersecurity isn't a thing to check the box, it's a process and a culture that utilities need to implement from top to bottom. To stay updated on the latest topics, please go to https://lnkd.in/giPzbnFX. Next session is on 11/7 with See Saechao who will be training folks on our Catalyst autodialer. This is especially relevant for folks who are in the Rockwell Automation ecosystem. ecosystem.

  • 99.99%   That was our uptime for AlarmAgent alarm notification services in the last 90 days.   We always strive to provide 100% uptime, but things happen. We're not perfect, but we try.   You count on us to be reliable. If something does happen, we will be transparent and communicate directly what is happening and how you may be impacted.    So why are we writing you about this?   Did you know that...   in fact we highly recommend you   sign up for service alerts to notify you if any service interruptions happen with AlarmAgent.   This is OUTSIDE of the actual alarms that you get for your daily operations. Text, email, Slack, and more are available.   The process to signup is easy - it takes less than a minute. Seriously, we timed it.    Doing so will allow the RACO team to inform you in real time if any service impairments may be impacting the performance of your AlarmAgent RTU or website.    You can even go in and review any prior incidents, view the post-mortem write-ups or see the uptime we have delivered in the recent past.    We emailed you because you are an active CSA on one or more AlarmAgent accounts. status.alarmagent.com
