The final day at the SOCIETY OF RADIOLOGY PHYSICIAN EXTENDERS conference did not disappoint - more learning about interventional radiology and great conversations! Wade Carrington was one of the very first classes of the RPA profession coming out of Weber State! He still practices and is sporting a Montana shirt here 👍🏼 We can’t say enough about good things about Jennifer Gemmer. Day 3 of SRPE was another day filled with exciting discussions, networking, and conversations with old friends. SRPE was fun yesterday - so much so that we forgot to post! Our founder, Molly Barrett, has been able to connect with several amazing people at the conference. Here’s a quick shoutout to them! Jennifer Gemmer, who has been introduced on this page before, is a RadAssist warrior. She has been doing locum work for the last 2 years, but her career spans 16 years! She is a true asset to the team. Jonathan Marx also does work with RadAssist, filling in a week at a time whenever hospitals are in need of an extra hand in the radiology department. Rosevelt Nheik, RPA/RRA, has been a RadAssist supporter from the start, even collaborating with and assisting Molly in the years leading up to RadAssist’s conception. Susan Wertz - huge shoutout here - currently works full-time for RadAssist in Hershey, Pennsylvania! Molly was also able to meet with two peers she trained in California when doing locum work there. Now, they are both working RPAs! At the end of each day we meet at Carnival Court to mix business with pleasure.
