Meet Jovita Palomino Solisonquehua, a mother of three from Huacaria, where our journey began in 2003. Back then, Jovita was just 7, and her village struggled with health issues due to contaminated water. Thanks to our slow sand filtration system, eco-friendly bathrooms, and hygiene education, Huacaria has transformed into a learning annex for sustainable WASH practices. "As a girl, we drank dirty water and were often sick. Now, with clean water and a new bathroom, our health has improved.
