Last week, our talented #randDenver team members took the runway at the 2024 IIDA Rocky Mountain Fashion Show, and it was an experience to remember! Partnering with Shaw Contract, we brought the Aspen, Colorado - History & Culture theme to life, showcasing the rich heritage of ski towns and ski culture. Using Shaw Contract’s stunning “Whisper” wall covering, our design was a nod to Aspen’s iconic style, blending innovative materials with timeless inspiration. This event was an incredible celebration of creativity and collaboration in our industry. Excited to highlight our recent project with IA Interior Architects for a confidential tech client. Our #randDenver team completed the 43,000 SF buildout of the lobby and a full floor. The new space features a branding refresh with standout elements including custom millwork reception desks, wall and ceiling slats, and acoustical baffles to meet our client’s needs. Facing a tight schedule, we successfully met our client's deadline thanks to seamless coordination with our partners. This Veterans Day, we proudly honor veterans across the country for their service. We are incredibly grateful for the veterans at rand* who bring valuable skills from the military to their roles in construction every day. From resilience and leadership to problem-solving under pressure, the strengths our veterans bring to our team are truly unparalleled. As Ben Allen, one of our project managers, shares: “The military taught me the importance of having a strong team by my side. Construction often presents overwhelming challenges, and I lean on the skills I learned in the military to meet the moment with a motivated team.” Isai Delgadillo, one of our assistant superintendents, reflects: “The fast-paced environment of the military required a lot of on-the-spot problem-solving, responsibility, and leadership. Bringing those skills into construction helps me do my job better for our clients and team at rand. ” Ben LaRue, our Learning and Development Manager, shares: “The military taught me that teamwork isn’t just relying on others; it’s knowing your work so well that you can be relied upon. Our #randSaltLakeCity team recently completed a standout 6,600 SF project for the Utah Inland Port Authority, designed by Design West Architects. This unique space features intricate millwork, custom planter boxes, waterfall counters, and a stunning reception ceiling inspired by railroads.
