Starting off the week with on a great note with a story in Forbes! With Men’s Health Month in June, now is the time to shine light on men’s mental health. Men are less likely than women to seek help when dealing with mental health struggles, in part due to stigmas attached to mental health. Spotlighting black men’s #health and access to care, the event featured numerous health equity thought leaders, including Miami’s own Alonzo Mourning who spoke candidly about his recent cancer diagnosis and how it underscores the importance of early detection in an inspiring discussion on faith, hope, love, resilience, and purpose.
