RCM had the privilege of giving our own team a special tour of Hancock County’s new Allan H. Davis Judicial Center. As construction nears completion, it was such a rewarding experience to walk through the spaces with the team members that poured so much passion and dedication into this project! As designers, we believe in the power of spaces to transform lives. The Armes Family Cancer Care Center, John and Mary DeHaven courtyard and Healing Tree, has been nothing short of inspiring. This courtyard is more than just a beautiful outdoor space—it’s a sanctuary where patients, caregivers, and survivors can reconnect with nature, reflect, and find peace. The healing process is complex, and we wanted to create a space that nurtures both body and spirit. One of the most rewarding parts of this project has been seeing cancer survivors return to the garden, not just for the peaceful respite it offers, but as a symbol of their strength and resilience. Every step we took in designing this space was about creating more than a garden—it was about creating a place where healing happens in more ways than one. Today, and every day, we take this moment to recognize RCM’s Veteran, Gage Rudasill. While serving in the Army, he was deployed to Kuwait as part of Mission: Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) and Operation Spartan Shield (OSS), both in 2020. A recent graduate of the University of Kentucky’s College of Design, Katelyn holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and a minor in business, bringing both design expertise and strategic insight to her role. Her academic journey includes a transformative study abroad in Italy, along with travels across the U.S., where she immersed herself in a variety of architectural styles and cultural landscapes, further enriching her design approach. Outside of the office, Katelyn is an avid equestrian, enjoys traveling, and treasures quality time with family and friends. We have abundant blessings and want to share these blessings with our friends and neighbors throughout our community. Recently, we were able to spend two shifts, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity of Findlay. Our associates painted, hung doors, and installed lights, smoke detectors, light switches, and outlets throughout two of the current, community build projects, here in Findlay. The projects are scheduled to wrap up construction over the next few weeks with the families receiving keys and moving in to their new houses in early October.   We are all grateful to be able to give back to our community! Findlay - We are thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of the Findlay Family YMCA’s new Early Learning Center (ELC). This past Monday, we gathered with the YMCA and many of their board members, donors, and Mayor Muryn to celebrate this joyous occasion. Initial planning for the ELC began a few years back. Through collaborative efforts of “The Y” staff, parents, residents, and consultants, the ELC will serve as a first phase of the overall daycare and recreation center complex.    Expected to open in early 2026, Phase #1 of YMCA complex features a 20,500 square-foot learning facility with infant, toddler, pre-K, and school-age rooms, a cafeteria/activities multi-use space, gross motor skills room and sensory-sensitive spaces, a private room for nursing mothers, meeting room and workroom spaces, a secure lobby, and maybe most importantly, interactive playground spaces for various age groups. These new spaces will allow The Y to serve 320 children. RCM Architects is grateful to be a part of such a meaningful, community project, and are excited to see the facility come to life. Thanks to everyone who helped make this day a reality. McComb, Ohio - #LittlePanthers Learning Center recently #cuttheribbon and is now open for kids! Featuring multi-use spaces for #infant to 12-year-olds, this 5,100 sf day care will help many families throughout the local McComb Community. The center is also working with the local school districts for new bus routes to-and-from the center for early morning or late afternoon care. RCM is excited to welcome Architectural Designer, Gage Rudasill, to the Team! With a passion for the details of a design, Gage enjoys deep dives into the finer points of construction. In his words, these details are what separates good projects from great projects. He works closely with our #architects and #landscapearchitects on these design decisions, seeing projects through to their completion. After graduation from Bowling Green State University’s College of Technology, Architecture, and Applied Engineering, we are extremely happy Gage chose to reside in #Findlay and work with us. We look forward to him being a longtime resident and growing into our local community.
