#SolarEnergy We have studied a new design of #PV panels theoretically which the data results show an increase of average power by 10% in respect of traditional design of PV System. Below attached figure, shows the graph curve of time & #solar power for each system. The new design is marked by blue color. - The maximum solar power & the operation duration were assumed as 700 Watt/m2 & 8 hours. The new concept doesn’t need any arranged units of mirrors or expensive tracking device. It may be a cost-effective system to harness more #energy without increasing too much of CAPEX cost. - #RE_Gap

#SeriesCompleted The effect of low GHI zones of solar energy has been studied well & we have selected #London ( #UnitedKingdom ) as a case study. It was concluded that solar PV energy is NOT good option there for investment due to high quantity of PV panels ( #CAPEX ) for previous application, which the project needs 397 solar panels, unless using additional technologies to improve the output power (e.g. Solar Tracking System). Few days ago, my uncle who is living in #UAE, reached out to me for consultation about his solar pump project for his farm. #PV Performance Degradation over Life-Cycle of Solar Project - Performance warranties, also known as power guarantees, ensure #SolarPanels maintain a specific efficiency over time. A #good quality of #PV panels may reduce its output power by 20% over 25 years. - So, in any type of #solar project either small (e.g. homes/farms) or large (e,g. factory/utility), the scientific consultant should take in account the effect of degradation performance & increase the necessary numbers of PV panels. - As an example, if technical study shows that for 10 KW solar project in day zero, then we need 25 panels (assuming panel power rate = 400 watt). So, we need to add extra 5 panels to guarantee the same output power over 25 years. - There are different brands of PV panels in the world with different performance characteristics. Using water #truck or solar #pipeline? - There are many factors effects our business decision such as the #CAPEX, #OPEX, market #competitors & #risk analysis. To simplify our study, we may focus our attention only in #OPEX factor. - We have studied different scenario related to distance of village from seawater zone. The graph shows the #advantage of using truck transportation for distance less than 120m, but after that it has been increased by more than 350% of yearly cost of solar pipeline at distance of 600m. - #Assumptions: The fuel price = 1 USD/Liter. The electricity tariff = 0.16 USD/KWh. No maintenance cost added. - #RE_Gap #SolarEnergy
