Reconciled provides industry-leading virtual bookkeeping, accounting, advisory, tax and human resource services for business owners and entrepreneurs across the US. We hire the best talent available and we set the standard for consistency and quality that you can count on.
Beginning in 2024, businesses must report beneficial ownership information (BOI) to FinCEN. This applies to most corporations and LLCs registered with the Secretary of State, however, some entities, such as most sole proprietorships and general partnerships, are exempt.
Reports must include details like name, address, date of birth, and ID numbers for beneficial owners (those with 25%+ ownership or substantial control).
Initial filings are due by January 1, 2025, for entities formed before 2024, and there are significant daily penalties for late filings.

CEO of Reconciled.com - I want to serve your small business and buy your accounting firm.
If you are a pre-seed or seed stage startup building in the accounting or finance space and attending #intuitconnect or #money2020 this coming week in Vegas, I’d love to connect in person. Shoot me a DM and let’s connect!!!
In accounting, it’s all about “making a name for yourself”—literally. But at Reconciled, instead of just focusing on who’s behind the service, we’re all about what we deliver. It’s more than a name.
The goal was to create a service that’s accessible, predictable, and scalable—where the focus is on what we deliver, not just who delivers it. For many of our customers, it’s not about my name, it’s about the value we provide and how effectively we support their businesses.
Here’s what I’ve learned along the way:
💡 Your Brand is More Than Your Name: While personal connections matter, building a service that stands on its own reputation can scale faster and reach more people.
💡 Vision Drives Engagement: Cast a vision that excites people to be part of something bigger, even in a traditionally “boring” industry like accounting. Think of how Jeff Bezos reimagined selling books—it’s about doing things differently.
💡 The Power of Storytelling: Whether it's engaging employees or attracting customers, share your story and invite others on the journey. That’s how you create a community around your brand.
This has been our mission at Reconciled—building something bigger than a local accounting firm. We’re creating a brand that delivers exceptional service across the U.S. and empowers small businesses to thrive.
🔑 Takeaway: If you're a small business owner, ask yourself—are you building a brand that depends on you or a brand that can stand on its own? The answer can reshape your growth strategy.
