Meet John Allgood, CPA, MBA, MAcc - Corporate Controller at The Wilmington Group! Today, we’re excited to spotlight John, who joined The Wilmington Group in October as our Corporate Controller. When asked to describe his role, John put it simply: “Know where the money is, who we need to get it from, and who we need to give it to.” A resident of Roswell, GA, John was drawn to The Wilmington Group by the opportunity to grow and improve the business. With a strong focus on process development and continuous improvement, John brings valuable expertise that will undoubtedly benefit our team. Outside the office, John enjoys: Everyday hobbies: Grilling. Extended time off: Camping when the weather allows. Fun fact: John built an impressive 800+ bottle wine cellar in his home! We’re lucky to have John’s expertise and dedication as part of our team.

Celebrate Free Shipping Day while making a positive impact! This December 14, we're excited to join the holiday cheer with Free Shipping Day. While you're getting those last-minute gifts shipped to your door, let's also take a moment to reflect on how we can reduce our environmental impact during the holiday season. 🔔 Did you know? The Wilmington Group encourages you to recycle, especially those paper products and cardboard boxes. Every ton of paper recycled saves 17 trees! Between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day, household waste in the U.S. increases by more than 25%. Around 1.6 billion Christmas cards are sold each year in the U.S. — many of which are recyclable! Wrapping paper with foil, glitter, or cellophane can’t be recycled, so consider using alternatives. Those stamped paper envelopes that carry your holiday cards? They’re recyclable!
