Throwback to the 3rd Bioenergy International Conference. 👥 REFFECT AFRICA was present at this event, which took place the past November in Jaén, Spain. Organized by researchers from the Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre (Portugal) and the Universidad de Jaén (Spain), this conference brought together academics, researchers and industry experts to discuss key topics such as bioenergy technologies, biomass and waste management, conversion processes and bioproduct applications. Being part of this international forum was a great opportunity to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration and contribute to the discussion on a more efficient use of biogenic resources. 💬

We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new cluster that unites seven R&D projects with a shared mission: to foster innovation and promote clean energy solutions for off-grid communities across Africa. AfricaEnergyParks, RePower Project, OPTiMG, SUNNY Project, agricool_eu, SWARM-E project, REFFECT AFRICA, LoCEL-H2 Project have come together to: 1️⃣ Engage with a larger stakeholder community. 2️⃣ Maximize synergies between projects for joint dissemination. 3️⃣ Collaborate on organizing and being represented at events. 4️⃣ Share knowledge and best practices. 5️⃣ Enhance dissemination efforts through joint publications and materials. 6️⃣ Develop policy recommendations to support impactful renewable energy solutions.
