About us

Remediation Partners Consortium is a strategic network of independent environmental remediation technology solution providers. We provide our clients with synergistic technologies to provide better designs, installations and to maintain innovative remedial systems to treat soil, groundwater, sediment and wastewater. Each remediation partner provides a “unique patented or proprietary technology” and firmly believes that no single “silver bullet” will meet all remediation objectives and goals. Remediation Partners believe that optimal soil and groundwater treatment can best be achieved by bundling complementary technologies into a “Treatment Train Approach” and our team of solution providers is motivated to think outside of the box to arrive at more than one alternative for our client’s most difficult problems.

  • 🔓 Unlocking UST Cleanup Success: Leveraging ASTM Standards for Effective Site Closure The challenge of moving Underground Storage Tank (UST) sites to closure is crucial for environmental protection and public health. The ASTM's "Moving Sites to Closure" (MStC) latest guidelines offer industry professionals best practices and innovative strategies to streamline UST site cleanups. UST cleanup programs have made remarkable progress over the past three decades, with over 512,000 cleanups completed. However, about 58,000 known cleanups remain, alongside newly discovered releases from the 192,000 operating UST facilities. The "Moving Sites to Closure" (MStC) initiative, led by the ASTM and supported by the EPA and various state agencies, aims to address these challenges by providing a clear, consistent framework for site closure. Key Considerations: ✅ Risk-Based Corrective Action (RBCA): Tailors cleanup goals based on site-specific risk assessments, ensuring proportional remediation efforts. ✅ High-Resolution Site Characterization (HRSC): Provides detailed data on contaminant distribution, enabling targeted and cost-effective cleanups. ✅ Innovative Remediation Techniques: Emphasizes in-situ bioremediation and natural attenuation, reducing long-term costs and enhancing effectiveness. ✅ Alternative Closure Criteria: Offers flexible criteria for site closure, accommodating various site conditions and contamination levels. By adopting these standardized practices, stakeholders can achieve faster, more reliable UST site closures, protecting public health and the environment. For more information, be on the lookout for the upcoming ASTM release of their latest guidelines or checkout Columbia Technology’s USTs Resources here: https://bit.ly/4c3ZHga #EnvironmentalProtection #USTCleanup #ASTMStandards #Sustainability #SiteClosure #PublicHealth Watch the ASTM “Moving Sites to Closure” (MStC) Webinar here: https://bit.ly/3VbBOMV
