The Renovata & Company Events Programme exists to build engagement within our network and deepen relationships with our clients, candidates and partners.    Our aim is to provide a an impactful forum, where senior professionals in our space can meet, share expertise and problem-solve, ranging from intimate leadership roundtables and functionally oriented meetups to high-touch dinner events focused on peer networking.   This year, we've held 13 in-person events and 3 online, extending the invitation to over 4400+ new faces and old friends. 318 of our contacts physically attended and we were delighted to have 28 tier-one expert speakers/panellists sharing their insights.   As the programme draws to a close for the year tomorrow - with 45+ Revenue Leaders gathering in Bloomsbury for informal Christmas drinks - we are already looking forward to launching next year's schedule. This week, we had the pleasure of attending 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 in London—the UK’s largest tech event for women. With its inspiring keynotes, hands-on workshops, and valuable networking opportunities, the event united attendees in their mission to transform the tech industry and build a more inclusive future. 𝗔 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁: 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟱 Women of Silicon Roundabout (WOSR) was established in London as the flagship event of the Women in Technology World Series. It quickly became a leading force in the global movement for gender diversity in tech. The name "Silicon Roundabout" stems from East London’s Old Street Roundabout, a hub for startups like Deliveroo and TransferWise. Although the term has evolved, the area remains synonymous with innovation and digital growth. 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟵 The conference expanded to include main-stage keynotes, themed "tracks," workshops, and a jobs fair. Topics such as AI, inclusion, accessibility, and leadership highlighted the event’s diverse focus. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 Key takeaways emphasised the power of mentorship and the message that being the only woman in a team is not a weakness but a strength. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 This year’s theme, Digital X Human, explored the synergy between technology and humanity. The event featured tech demos, networking opportunities, and the Speaking Skills Studio, where quick sessions delivered practical tips on communication. 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 remains a vital platform for empowering women and shaping the future of tech leadership.
