After years of research and development and several different pilots and iterations on the Revelator ecosystem, the EVM stack is now - scalable, secure, privacy preserving when needed, and affordable enough to bring Bruno Guez 's vision of Original Works to life! With our first iteration already live on mainnet and v0.2 on coming onto DevNet we are ready to go! Join our very first community call (link below) to learn more about Original Works and what it means for the music industry as a whole, and even more importantly to individual rights holders. We are excited to announce that Original Works is "graduating" from our incubation period at the amazing Revelator Labs and launching as a stand-alone open source protocol that any supply chain participant can leverage in order to offer transparent, efficient and speedy royalty payments. We are just getting started but in a few months anyone running our validator can participate in validating thousands of new music releases a month in our live distribution feed, with many more asset to come from our amazing network of partners. We also power on-chain royalty splits and immediate settlement in stablecoins from payments originating on all your favorite streaming platforms, and many you've never heard of :) Most importantly we are not asking anyone in the industry to change their standard means of operations and we are not expecting every artist to become a one-man startup just so they can have control over their rights. On our call we will be revealing our "Proof of Record" model that aims to close the gaps in the fragmented music IP industry and will be the first step towards self custody for rights holders. By doing so, we are enabling IP price discovery and unlocking liquidity for this massive uncorrelated asset class of music royalties.
