It is unwise to cut programs designed to strengthen our country and ensure inclusion at all levels, where people are allowed to enter, thrive, and contribute meaningfully. All individuals deserve adequate support to not just survive but to truly thrive. The ongoing attack on programs that promote fairness and equity is deeply concerning. I strongly believe that the current administration’s policies are a step backward, and the long-term consequences will be costly for future generations. Inclusionary practices should never be seen as a waste of time. Our country is becoming more diverse, and we must ensure equal access to opportunities for everyone to reach their highest potential. The fallout from these policies creates uncertainty and hardship, and the impact will be devastating. If you want to support organizations working to uplift families and create jobs and close food and housing insecurities, please consider supporting RIBBA. The work we do is critical now more than ever. Thanks a ton for considering this: www.ribba.org

We can’t believe we are already 5 months into our Emerging Leaders Development Program! It has been an exciting journey, with countless milestones including promotions, new opportunities, increased responsibilities, and salary growth. 📈 This reinforces the importance of investing in your employees. Fostering professional development not only empowers individuals but also strengthens the overall #workforce. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce data indicates that Rhode Island has only 53 available workers for every 100 job openings. This means there is a 47% workforce gap, highlighting the challenges employers face in finding qualified candidates. Workforce development is more essential than ever. By investing in local talent, we are bridging the skills gap, driving innovation, and cultivating a more skilled and competitive workforce. The impact is undeniable: initiatives like these lead to long-term organizational success and contribute to the broader economic growth of our state. Attention City of Pawtucket, RI residents! 📢 We are accepting applications for our 2025 Pawtucket cohort! If you are looking to join a community of ambitious, like-minded professionals, RIBBA’s Emerging Leaders Development Program is the perfect opportunity. This program provides the tools, training, and support you need to grow your career, build meaningful connections, and develop #leadership skills to help you reach your full potential. 🚀 ➡️ Now is the time to apply!
