🌱 Journey to Transformation Series: “Reimagining Collaborative Philanthropy” Collaborative philanthropy is more than just pooling resources—it's about bringing funders together to make faster, bolder decisions, increase funding flows, and share knowledge. One inspiring example of the impact of collaborative funding is the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT). As a result of receiving funding from the Audacious Project, HOT was able to scale their map from covering 100 million people to 707 million people in less than 4 years. HOT maps have supported campaigns in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to achieve a 95 percent vaccination rate for measles. The maps also helped malarial spray teams in Mozambique reach 80 percent of homes, a critical threshold for preventing the spread of the disease.
