I don't normally post on linkedin but this one is well deserved. AGX Siteworx has started utilizing Rippling Spend as of today, and I can already tell this is going to be a game changer for us not only from the perspective of timely reporting, but time saved by eliminating manual processes. How things used to be: One of our team members in the field would make a purchase for a job and get their receipt. They would then have to hold on to it until they had time to come to the office and drop it off. Often times this could take up to two weeks because of how spread out some of our jobs are, and despite all our teammates best efforts, sometimes receipts would get lost. They would also have to write the job # and cost code on the physical receipt (not always easy to make out tiny numbers after baking in the sun or sitting in a wallet for a couple of weeks). This caused all kinds of problems, but mainly it prevented us from having accurate information about our exact cost on a job in a timely manner. Rippling fixes that. How things are now: One of our team members in the field makes a purchase. They immediately get a prompt to upload a receipt and memo on their cell. They do. We know exactly what was purchased, where, for how much, and for what job. We went from having a 2-week lag on perfect information to no lag at all and saved a LOT of time on manual entry. I can't recommend it enough to a business of any size. Also, a big shout out to Alex Wildish for walking us through all the capabilities and Landon Adler/Aleea Gomis for getting us up and running!
