Robertson Banking Company is one of the oldest banks in the state of Alabama. The Bank, founded in 1870 by Daniel F. Prout and John R. Robertson as a private bank, operated under the name of Prout and Robertson, Bankers. Following their deaths in 1903, their descendants formed a corporation, Robertson Banking Company, and for almost 150 years Robertson Banking Company has been synonymous with safety and service. Today, the descendant families of our founders continue to operate the bank based on traditional values of integrity, commitment to the communities we serve, and fairness to all. We combine these values with the most innovative products and services delivered with the latest banking technology. Robertson Banking Company has served as the banking preference for generations of families and family businesses providing loan, deposit, and trust services in West Alabama. Robertson Banking Company began in the city of Demopolis and the company is headquartered in the former Mayer Brothers building constructed in 1897. The building is both architecturally and culturally significant and is an observed landmark in the West Alabama area. In addition to our main office, we also have three other branches in Marengo County, two in Tuscaloosa and one in Birmingham.

Gina’s recognition is a testament to her dedication to both her team and our community. Gina has been an employee of Robertson Banking Company since 2020, where she began as a Bookkeeper and Customer Service Representative (CSR). Recently, she was promoted to Branch Manager of our Linden office, continuing to demonstrate her leadership and banking knowledge. Robertson Banking Company is proud to announce that Katie Windham, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of the Bankers 2 Leaders Board of Directors. Bankers 2 Leaders is a section of the Alabama Bankers Association with the primary responsibility of developing career enhancement leadership training, promoting banker community involvement, and providing opportunities and tools for banker political advocacy. Mrs. Windham brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served on the Board since 2017 and joining the executive committee in 2021. She joined Robertson Banking Company in 2005 as Human Resources Officer, overseeing staffing, payroll, and benefits for the institution. With over 24 years in the field of Human Resources, her expertise and dedication have contributed to the bank's operational success. Mrs. Windham holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Auburn University, and she recently completed the Bank Executive Leadership Certification Program sponsored by Bankers 2 Leaders. Outside of her professional commitments, Mrs. Windham is actively involved in the Demopolis community through her membership in the Demopolis Rotary Club and the First United Methodist Church of Demopolis. "We are thrilled to see Katie assume the role of Chairman of the Bankers 2 Leaders Board," said Gary Holemon, President and CEO of Robertson Banking Company.
