  • With the holidays approaching, it’s important to think beyond just gift-giving — and to consider gift-protecting, too. Valuable items like jewelry, luxury collectibles, and other high-ticket gifts should be added to your insurance policy now to avoid any coverage gaps. Use this time to review your policy and include other significant purchases from the past year. Planning now brings peace of mind for the future!

  • With a fresh new year just on the horizon, now is a great time for small business owners to consider what factors are impacting their insurance premiums. Things like industry, business location and claims history can all play a significant role in determining costs. For instance, high-risk industries or regions prone to natural disasters may result in higher premiums, while businesses with a low claims history may benefit from reduced costs. However, consulting with an insurance advisor to navigate these influences can help optimize your coverage and keep premiums manageable. Get in touch with us today.

  • Building relationships has always been at the heart of Kelly Breeggemann’s career, and it’s what ultimately led her to join us at Robins Insurance as our Commercial Lines Team Lead. After spending 15 years with her previous agency in Missouri—and working for them remotely since her move to Nashville in 2022—Kelly felt ready for a role where she could connect with clients and colleagues in person. With over 30 years of insurance experience, she combines deep industry knowledge with a warmth and dedication that perfectly aligns with our relationship-focused approach. We’re thrilled to have her as both a leader and a valued team member!

  • With the holiday season upon us, businesses must be more vigilant than ever about mitigating supply chain risks. Strategies like supplier diversification, contingency planning, and using technology for real-time tracking can help small businesses maintain smooth operations and avoid costly delays. Strong supplier relationships are also key in preparing for demand surges. By investing in your supply chain this holiday season — and continuing to stay invested thereafter — your business will become stronger and more resilient, and your customers will become satisfied and loyal. It’s a win-win!

  • The end of the year officially here, it’s time to decorate for the holidays — safely, of course! To reduce fire hazards, make sure all holiday lights have the UL safety label, avoid overloading outlets, and opt for LED lights. Anchor heavy decorations to prevent them from tipping (especially if you have young kids or pets) and use non-flammable materials when possible. And don’t forget to keep your tree well-watered, and turn off the lights when you go to bed! By heeding these simple reminders, we can ensure the season will be merry AND bright.

  • As promised, we’re kicking off our “Small Business Saturdays” initiative with an exciting new business, which just recently opened its doors on Monteagle Mountain near Sewanee University. It’s Judith! The brainchild of chef and TN native, Julia Sullivan. Having partnered with Sullivan for many years — particularly through her acclaimed Nashville restaurant Henrietta Red — we’re proud to support her newest endeavor. Judith is set to be a vibrant gathering place for college students, faculty, local residents and visitors, offering a diverse menu that includes affordable snacks, delicious desserts, classics like burgers, and hearty, vegetable-forward entrees. We can’t wait to visit! And we hope you do, too.
