Every acre of his cover crops is grazed by grass-fed beef cattle. Tom actively promotes soil health to other farmers at state and national events. At this workshop, Tom will focus on maximizing the benefits of soil health in your row crop or livestock operations, and how soil health benefits can impact production and the consumer.

The Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission has completed a draft amendment to the Regional Natural Areas and Critical Species Habitat Site Protection and Management Plan. This plan identifies the regions most significant remaining natural areas, critical species, habitat sites, aquatic areas, geological sites, and archeological sites remaining in the region and provides recommendations for protection and management. We welcome you to review and comment on the plan through January 10, 2025. Two virtual public meetings on the draft amendment will be held TOMORROW, Thursday, December 19, 2024.
