Yesterday we enjoyed our annual Christmas party at Hickory Hills Country Club! There was great food, even better desserts, drinks and good times with coworkers. Included in the event was the announcement and celebration of the recipients of the 2024 RIQ awards! For those who are unfamiliar with the RIQ awards, they are our internal awards that are given out each year at our Christmas party. The acronym RIQ stands for "Relationships, Integrity & Quality" - three traits that were based off of co-owners David & Andy Ross' dad Kenny. At the end of each year we ask each member of our staff to vote for who they think best embodies one of these characteristics. For 2024, we had two polls - one for our SWMO employees and one for our NWA employees. The winners were as follows: SWMO Winners - Doyle Atnip - Relationships Award - Robin Newhart - Integrity Award - Clay Tucker - Quality Award NWA Winners - Kelly Capps - Relationships Award - Brian Hull - Integrity Award - Thomas Patrick (photo #4) - Quality Award Each winner was beaming from ear-to-ear as they received their trophy to much applause. A fun time for all and a great way to celebrate the holidays and finish out 2024!

Another project completed! The Paul Mueller Company, a stainless steel processing and equipment manufacturing company, asked us to oversee the expansion of one of their warehouses. This was done to allow their staff to have more space to assemble some of their larger equipment. The addition, led by Senior Project Manager Steve Guilliams and Superintendent Kevin Nichols, marked its final milestone this month. The 10,064-square-foot extension will not only enable Paul Mueller to broaden their production of stainless steel processing systems but also enrich our portfolio of pre-engineered metal buildings. American Buildings, a custom metal building manufacturer, organized a raffle for the general contractors they have worked with over the past year, and RCG was named as the lucky winner! The reward: a Blackstone griddle. It was delivered yesterday, accompanied by some delicious BBQ, a variety of snacks, and Kansas City Chiefs' memorabilia, generously provided by Billy Shields from American Buildings (left). Chief Operating Officer Andy Ross (right) gladly accepted these gifts on behalf of RCG. A big thank you to this exceptional organization for this gift. When summer arrives, we will make use of this griddle for as many outdoor events as possible.

As the year comes to a close, we have four final Ross-iversaries to share. The team members we're celebrating this month are: Rory Allen, Superintendent; James Lea, Chief Financial Officer; Cameron Soetaert, Laborer; and Matt Flattem, Project Manager. This past Monday we oversaw the fourth concrete pour at SRC Logistics. It went smoothly and quickly thanks to our Superintendent Jason Hibbert and the efficient Donco 3 Construction team. Soon, the entire slab will be poured, allowing us to move forward with erecting the PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Building). Soma Terrace, a twelve-unit townhouse complex in Bentonville, is on track for completion this month. Spanning 22,600 square feet, the property boasts a contemporary design inside and out, featuring sleek finishes and a modern layout. Each townhouse includes three bedrooms, a well-sized kitchen, two and a half bathrooms, a spacious living area, and a backyard patio on the first floor. These features make the multi-family complex a beautiful new addition to both the Bentonville area and our portfolio. We would also like to take this time to thank our team members Greg Ferus, Heath Dawson, and Miles Jackson for their work on this project. At the Springfield Contractor's Association Salute Awards Banquet last night, we had the honor of receiving the Design Team of the Year award alongside Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective, Miller Engineering, Own Inc., and Touché Design Co. This accolade was in recognition of our joint efforts on the new youth center at James River Church in Ozark, MO. We extend our congratulations to every member of the design team for their dedication, especially our RCG team members who exemplified one of our core values through this project: quality and our unwavering commitment to upholding that standard.
