Yesterday, we gathered for Rothschild Doyno Collaborative’s 36th anniversary with our Annual Founding Day celebration—a moment to reflect on our journey and share stories that connect to us our roots. After enjoying a delicious lunch from Roxanne’s Catering, the afternoon’s highlight was exploring our Memory Shelves. These tiny time capsules showcase objects that represent RDCollab’s projects, moments, and milestones over the years. Our newest team members selected items from the shelves, and guided by Daniel Rothschild’s storytelling, the conversations sparked plenty of laughs and many fond memories. Taking time to pause and share stories that honor our legacy, we are reminded of the incredible impact of the fantastic people who have made these years so meaningful. It was a beautiful afternoon in Pittsburgh for the groundbreaking ceremony of Grandview Heights in Mt. Washington! This project, developed by Laurel Communities and designed by Rothschild Doyno Collaborative, will feature 27 luxurious townhomes that offer fantastic views of the city. The design aims to blend modern aesthetics with the traditional charm of Mt. Washington’s architecture. With most units in Phase 1 already pre-sold, this development is off to an incredible start. We spent a beautiful Saturday in Johnstown kicking off the Comprehensive Plan by engaging with the community and listening as they shared their views on the city’s most significant opportunities and challenges. Residents, business owners, and visitors stopped by our booth to provide insights that will help shape Johnstown’s future. On October 17th, we celebrated a significant milestone in the Washington City Mission Women’s Shelter project with a Topping Off Ceremony, marking the placement of the final steel beam on the building. Signing the beam before it was brought into place by ironworkers with Mosites Construction and Development Company was a moment of pride for everyone involved. The new shelter has been named “Sally’s Sanctuary” in honor of Dr. Sally Mounts, now retired Chief Development Officer, who was instrumental in the development of this project.
