💪 That’s a wrap! 🎯 After months of working towards the first-ever Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children, we are proud to share with you our achievements in Bogotá: ✅ We broke the record! Colombia won a Guinness World Records for the number of countries represented at a summit on ending violence against children, which we contributed to as part of our #BreakTheRecord campaign. ✅ We built a 21m long & 3m tall installation for #BreakTheRecord at the conference, which welcomed hundreds of delegates, policy-makers, civil society and guests. ✅ We led on survivor engagement at the conference through the Global Survivor Council, which brought together 15 survivors of different forms of violence from around the world. ✅ We influenced key government pledges on online safety, data and evidence collection, and the creation of national survivor councils. ✅ We met with numerous key government and civil society partners in child protection. ✅ We organized and took part in satellite and official events on crucial topics such as online safety, child marriage, ending violence in schools, ending childhood sexual violence & more! ✅ We were incredibly inspired by all the survivors, children & youth, policy-makers, researchers, and civil society working to create a safe world for children. 🌟 The Conference was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to come together to create new partnerships and share evidence and solutions to #EndViolenceAgainstChildren. Let's build on this momentum and continue to work towards a world where children are safe, protected, and thriving. 💜 Thank you to the hosts World Health Organization UNICEF UN SRSG on Violence Against Children Cancillería de Colombia #Sweden and to all the partners who we collaborated with at the conference WeProtect Global Alliance Safe Online Centers for Disease Control and Prevention USAID Girls Not Brides: The Global Partnership to End Child Marriage World Vision Global Affairs Canada | Affaires mondiales Canada Government of Kenya Plan International Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Coalition for Good Schools UNESCO To Zero Oak Foundation Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) Ignite Philanthropy: Inspiring the End to Violence Against Girls and Boys World Childhood Foundation Wellspring Philanthropic Fund

🇪🇺 🌍 Today, we hosted our third multi-stakeholder briefing on generative AI and its impacts on online child sexual exploitation and abuse (OCSEA), this time in Brussels. The event brought together European institutions, regulators, law enforcement, child safety advocates, and Tech Coalition industry members to discuss robust safety-by-design measures, shared challenges, and opportunities for deeper collaboration. As part of this ongoing dialogue, we announced new research projects selected for award through the Tech Coalition Safe Online Research Fund. These projects, led by the University of Kent, Western Sydney University, and Safernet Brasil, will tackle diverse aspects of this critical issue—from young people’s engagement with AI to the misuse of generative AI for creating and distributing CSAM. 📢 Learn more about the outcomes of today’s briefing and the newly announced research projects in our latest blog: https://lnkd.in/e8AMRRzS Thank you to all who participated and shared their expertise, and a special thanks to Microsoft for hosting us at their Brussels office. Together, we’re making strides toward a safer digital future for children. 💡 #GenerativeAI #ChildSafety #TechCoalition

Internet Safe Kids Africa in partnership with Data Girl and Friends hosted the effective Cybersafety and Privacy Workshop themed Leadership In Digital Environment. The workshop fostered critical thinking among the students which was the aim, to raise a new generation of student leaders equipped to make informed decisions and champion online safety and privacy talks within their schools and communities. It was a pivotal moment that brought the Online Privacy Workbook authored by Angeline Corvaglia to life in Nigeria. Launched for the first time as well in Nigeria and Africa was the Teach 5 challenge program - a youth digital leadership movement by Tiffany Wycoff to spread digital safety and wellbeing through peer network, where older kids teach 5 younger peers how to navigate safely and responsibly online. Thanks to Tiffany Wycoff for supporting this cause, Generation Remix for funding the project. To our speakers Amina Musa (CC, CCA, ACSP) Angeline Corvaglia Sanchita M. for your time and knowledge shared with the students, and to Jamaldeen Lawal, the management and teachers of Athaqofy Islamic Model Schools for the opportunity to bring the workshop to your students #iSafekidsAfrica Raising Safe And Responsible Digital Citizens.
