  • Here's a look back on our collaboration with HeatTek, one of the leading names in Industrial Oven and Furnace manufacturing. We were tasked with providing modular, pre-fabricated railings to protect their industrial "Inside Bake" ovens to comply with OSHA Code 1910.28(b). This is a requirement to secure any platform more than four feet above a lower level to allow employees to safely walk along the oven's exterior platforms. With careful design, development, and installation, we were able to implement over 50 railing systems to accompany HeatTek's ongoing production of Inside Bake Ovens. • National Roofing Corporation, one of the largest roofing contractors in the Mid-Atlantic, got in touch with us to protect 58 skylights on a standing seam roof. In order to comply with proper OSHA code requirements, we provided our NextGen Skylight Safety-Screen™ Model SSS to protect workers from falling through the flat skylights. Since these skylights were installed in pairs, there were a few different options to protect them. We considered installing a skylight railing around each pair of skylights, but individually applying our skylight screens to each skylight proved to be the most cost-effective and safe option.
