The Vice President of Operations for Love's (a company worth $9.7B) responded to a cold email sent by a Rebel… Want to know why? Because we sent them a book in the mail A book where they were the author of the story One where they triumph over their existing supply chain issues Filled with a bunch of blank pages and a sticky note that stated: "These pages are blank because you and I have yet to write this story." But we never got a response from that... So, we sent the same person a pen to write the story with... It had a button on the side, that projected an image onto a flat surface, that image was a QR code that took the prospect back to a landing page Where a video was waiting for them... Then, we popped over an email. And got the following response. Rebels get attention and hear back from the people they are reaching out to, even at $9.7B companies, because we create experiences. And those experiences are memorable You might see this response as "unfavorable" But we don't because this is just the beginning... Without a response, good or bad, you are indifferent to your prospect. You don't exist, you don't matter, you don't have any trust or favor with them - it's that simple. If you are cold calling this week, stop being just another random solicitor to the people you are calling on. Start getting attention. PS - if you want to start sending your own experiences in the mail to get more attention, start with something simple: www.crumpledletter.com #ChangeTheGame #ColdCalling #CreativeSales

  • We believe in people over products, community over commission checks, giving experiences over performing a pitch and fellowship over negotiations. There are hundreds of thousands of sellers out there differentiating by remember that: Sales is a human to human thing. It’s not a “sport” or a “hunt” but a place where mutual goals are made and met. A place where relationships are a two way street and not a one way road. And we believe that all of this exists better when a seller leans into creative and adventurous approaches to all things sales. -Creative habits -Creative outreach -Creative communication -Creative negotiation -Creative problem solving -Creative experiences Even the most “straight laced” human in the buying world has a curious bone in their body. So if you want to be a Legendary salesperson please remember… You have to start with a Rebellion #SalesRebellion #CreativeSelling #SellLikeARebel

Values! What are values? Do you know yours? They are the foundation that keeps us going. They are our moral compass when we face decisions, big or small. Can we deviate from our foundation? Sure, I know I have a few times throughout my life, but when doing so, thankfully, I could recenter back to my values. I was on a coaching call this week with a client trying to decide whether or not to work with someone in their industry with some outward opinions that differed from their community's. However, this wasn't of concern to my client because he knew this person, and aside from these opinions, my client knew he was a good person. The concern was if he did work with him, how would this look to others in the community? I asked how he felt about it based on his values and not what others could think, which opened a new thought process for my client. The reality is that we cannot control how others think about us or others. Considering this, what we do know and can control is our values and how things either align with or contradict them. Might some people not like us or our decisions? For sure, but if how we conduct ourselves aligns with our value system, then it is much easier to be at peace with others disagreeing with us. This applies overall, but we need to make decisions that will have a ripple effect in business and sales. It is guaranteed that not all of our choices will be accepted or liked by all, but if they align with our values, then we can stand firmly on our foundation and continue looking forward. If you would like a free values exercise to help you define and clarify your values, shoot me a message. #SalesRebellion #ChangeTheGame

  • Are you actually on a mission to make change, create a presence… show up fully as yourselves; which includes all your unique beautiful quirks and ways you’ll fumble about that only you can pull off, and in so doing, endear you to others? Or… are you just talking about it and going through the motions? Showing up, just to tick a box? No real action or change. Sounds like mediocrity to us. What’s stopping you from choosing legendary? #SalesRebellion

  • Why wouldn’t you want to practice first? Why would you just go into anything blind as a bat? Sounds like a silly choice if you ask us. That’s why we partnered with Luster at #Totality to help our attendees understand the sheer magnitude that practice can have on your sales walk. Also, how else were the Rebels going to be ready for the Boss Battle against the Ice King… Watch as Christina Brady explains!
