Today was #LeadershipUtah Community Service Day! Over a year, this class of public and private sector participants will expand their network, hear from key community leaders and learn how they can best support our ever-changing society. The first stop of the day was to The Other Side Academy. The Other Side Academy encourages individuals to take part in their treatment process as full partners, not as objects or patients. After that the Leadership Utah cohort had the opportunity to visit and learn about the Humane Society of Utah. They are dedicated to the elimination of pain, fear and suffering in all animals. Next up, Leadership Utah visited Utah Food Bank. For over 120 years, Utah Food Bank has stayed focused on their mission of Fighting Hunger Statewide. After that the Leadership Utah cohort toured the American Red Cross. Red Cross volunteers and staff work to deliver vital services to aid in preparation and response of emergencies. Finally, the cohort visited TURNDreams. They offer a full range of services to over 850 individuals in Utah with developmental disabilities. This holiday season, consider making an impact by donating to those in need. Visit any of their websites to learn more about ways to help. It was an incredible day!

"There's so much in this day and age that we just tear down and rebuild something cookie-cutter. Here, there's a lot of heart and soul and all these subtle historical nods to the past and what made this city what it is...We really loved this idea of historical elegance meets modern luxury," said Katie Van Riper, director of marketing for Asher Adams, Autograph Collection.
