The founder of Sammons Enterprises, Inc. (SEI), Charles A. Sammons was born June 5, 1898. Mr. Sammons dedicated his life to building businesses. He started his first business—a laundry delivery service—while still in high school, and eventually grew a global business from the roots of a single life and health insurance company formed when he was only 30 years old. This Founders Day, we recognize Mr. Sammons’ entrepreneurial spirit, his remarkable work ethic, and his commitment to SEI’s enduring success some 86 years on.
