Another interesting article, as we all take stock of the Construction Industry in 2024 and make plans for 2025. It seems like caution optimism is the mood of the hour.   This article points out that while overall Construction Industry growth in 2024 was a modest 4.1%, the performance of each subsector varied widely. The recovery of Residential Housing Construction remained slow throughout the year but is still moving in an upward trajectory.   Commercial Construction is described in this article as “uneven” pointing to some big winners and losers creating an offsetting effect. Office and Warehouse construction remained significantly down but Data Centers and Manufacturing Construction drove growth in the sector overall. Similarly, Public Infrastructure growth was driven by Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (IIJA) monies finally trickling into the system. These trends are largely expected to continue into 2025 with hopes for a higher overall growth rate driven by a robust Residential Construction rebound, thanks to lower interest rates and high demand, and a Public Infrastructure boom of new IIJA projects. Some challenges to watch are continued labor shortages as well as the cost and availability of material, as inflation remains a concern. ➡️The first and vitally important step in achieving adequate tension, is properly seating your screen hook. It is possible to catch the "lip" of the hook backleg instead of fully seating the tension bar or clamp rail into the throat of the hook. This oversight will result in the hook peeling open during operation - rapidly detensioning the screen! Double checking your hook during installation is always worth the extra 5 minutes! A hook failure during operation will ultimately cost much more in production time and manpower. A MAX Kleen screen must be properly tensioned during installation in order to achieve peak self-cleaning efficiency. Follow the simple 5 STEP tensioning process outlined below to ensure that your MAX Kleen screen performs better and lasts longer! ➡️The purpose of this process is to incrementally stretch your MAX Kleen screen before running it under load. STEP 1: After initial installation has been completed, run the screen empty for a few minutes STEP 2: Stop machine and re-tighten screen STEP 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 several times until screen is very taut and lies perfectly flat – the vibrations of the running machine help facilitate this STEP 4: Run the screen under load for 2 to 4 hours STEP 5: Stop and re-check the screen to make sure that it remains taut with very little deflection when pressed That's it! Your screen should now be perfectly tensioned and ready to max out your screening efficiency!
