On this Veterans Day, we honor the brave men and women who have served our country with courage, sacrifice, and resilience. Last week, our #SFGiants Vets employee resource group hosted a special employee event dedicated to celebrating and learning from the veterans who are part of our Giants family. With inspiring speakers who shared their journeys and experiences, it was a powerful reminder of the resilience, dedication, and leadership veterans bring to our team every day. Earlier this month, #SFGiants Employee Resource Group, Corazón Gigante hosted a Día de los Muertos Calavera Paint & Sip event which included an opportunity to learn about the significance of this special holiday and express creativity through art. A giant 'thank you' to Emilio Cortez for joining us!

The #SFGiants proudly celebrate Native American Heritage Month, honoring the centuries of ancestry and culture that continue to enrich our communities today.

#SpiritDay is a time to stand against bullying and show support for LGBTQ youth, especially trans and nonbinary youth, who all deserve a safe and accepting world. The #SFGiants  are proud to come together, wear purple, and spread a message of kindness, inclusion and belonging for all 💜

Last week, the #SFGiants hosted their annual staff softball tournament. In all, well over 100 players participated on eight teams. The team led by Cameron Lochte and Tess Oliphant, “Kol Van Greatness” captured the Front Office Softball Championship. The team’s namesake, Kol Van Giesen, was crowned MVP. A special thanks to Mike Dominguez for umpiring, Alyssa Ramont for organizing the team of scorekeepers and announcers, Evelyn White for singing a beautiful version of the National Anthem, Jonathan Rillera for managing the AV, Gregory T. Elliott for getting the field ready, Rebecca Miles for the Good Vibes Happy Hour and Susan Herman for pulling everyone and everything together.

Congratulations to Bertha Fajardo, the winner of the 2023 Victor A. Suarez Meritorious Community Service Award 🧡 Hosted by the Hispanic Heritage Baseball Museum Hall of Fame, the award recognizes community leaders who have made significant contributions to the Hispanic community and to the game of baseball.

The #SFGiants are excited to announce that Buster Posey will now take on a greater role as the new President of Baseball Operations
