Same sub-county where SANGO-Kenya farmers live is semi-arid. Climate change is making rainfall increasingly more erratic and harder to depend on for farming. SANGO-Kenya provides all farmers with roof gutters for capturing rainwater — farmers now collect enough water for weeks instead of days. Women represent 70% of all smallholder farmers in Kenya.
