Join us for an insightful webinar by our member agency, Orange County Water District! 💧🖥️ Topic: Squeezing the Last Drop: Using Enhanced-Recovery Reverse Osmosis to Improve Water Production Date: Wednesday, August 7 Time: 12 PM Maximizing water extraction efficiency is crucial for water-stressed regions like Southern California. Reverse osmosis (RO) has been pivotal in potable reuse and brackish water treatment since the 1970s, yet it typically leaves 15-20% of the feed flow as concentrate—a potential water source that advanced high-recovery RO technologies can tap into. In this webinar, discover cutting-edge solutions for enhancing water production and learn about: 🔹 High-recovery RO pilot studies by OCWD and the City of Santa Monica 🔹 Santa Monica’s pioneering full-scale flow-reversal RO installation 🔹 Increasing water recovery to tackle regional water scarcity Featured Speakers: 🌟 Han Gu, Ph.D., Senior Scientist/Process Specialist, Orange County Water District 🌟 Alex Waite, P.E., Supervising Civil Engineer, City of Santa Monica 🔗 Register now to secure your spot and stay ahead in water recovery innovations: https://lnkd.in/dfHWYW2C.
