Over the past 60 decades, India has a transitioned growth in terms of agri production from 50 million tonnes to 300 million tonnes. From becoming the 9th largest exporter of agricultural products India has transitioned from being a food-deficit nation to a self-sufficient food-producing country in the last 30 years. The National Food Security Act which was initiated in 2013 provides nutritional security and food to a financially constrained community at a negligible price rate at INR 1,2 and 3. Several challenges that the government has to face with the growth of the agriculture sector. Firstly disguised unemployment is more in the agricultural sector, secondly land degradation and shrinkage of biodiversity and the third is child malnutrition among newbies. The aggregate decline in childhood stunting is not fast enough to meet global targets. India is increasingly confronted with the double burden of malnutrition: About 11 percent of children aged 6-23 months received an adequate diet in 2019-20. This is paired with an increased prevalence of overweight children and obesity in children and adolescents, which can lead to non-communicable diseases (NCD) in adulthood. Our government has introduced many programs for the agricultural sector, The UN is also strengthening the farm sectors to produce more employment and outputs. Many NGOs like SarvAnn Shiksha Foundation work tirelessly to serve the underprivileged.

A visit to a local Gurukul💫 ***What is a Gurukul*** 🌟A gurukul is a traditional form of education in which students have to live with the teachers in the ashram. It focuses on holistic education and the imparting of values and life skills along with academic learning.✅ 🌟Serving the gurukul is a blessing for all of us. We initiated the FOOD DRIVE for students of gurukul. A fascinating day with the students inspired us to conduct more programs for a fruitful outcome. All these cultural traditions institutes navigate and encourage children towards religion.Teaching students about religion and culture is an under appreciated job in today’s world.💯 🌟Investing our time in gurukul helps us to inspire growth, religious learning and a great interaction with the ashram students. Gurukul helps us to develop our religious instinct and insights about our cultural roots.

June 12 marks a significant date in the global calendar—the World Day Against Child Labour. This day, established by the International Labour Organization in 2002, serves as a poignant reminder of the harsh realities faced by millions of children worldwide. It is a day that urges us all to reflect, recognize, and respond to the urgent need to eradicate child labor in all its forms. “On World Day Against Child Labour, let’s unite to protect children’s rights and end child labor. Every child deserves a chance to learn, play, and dream. Together, we can build a future where no child is forced to work.”
