Last Wednesday, our own Heman Chand, MBA, DBIA and Gilbane Building Company's Jeffrey Park joined up for a panel discussion at the JPMorganChase Elevate 2024 event sharing best practices, challenges and successes around driving diversity amongst suppliers across a variety of different industries. As part of their Corporate & MBE Fireside chat on Supplier Diversity, Heman and Jeff got personal and shared insights surrounding a partnership between our collective firms and how they are working to drive diverse participation in the construction industry, ways the construction industry can think broadly about diversity, coming together to form external joint ventures that are steeped in diversity and structuring internal programs that directly move the needle on supporting and promoting an equitable workforce. This 70,000-square-foot facility will offer primary care, urgent care, diagnostic imaging, and specialty services, all under one roof.
