In honor of Veterans Day, South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce Executive Director William Floyd and South Carolina Department of Veterans' Affairs Secretary Todd B. McCaffrey have published their joint op-ed in The Post and Courier. Both cabinet members discuss the resources and incentives veterans and their families have in finding work and setting up roots in South Carolina after active duty, as well as why veterans are exceptional job candidates for our state's employers. Last week, SCMA hosted its 3rd Annual South Carolina Manufacturing Summit — the state's premier conference designed by manufacturers for manufacturers.
