As every year, SCF-ChemBio (Chemical biology interest group of the Société Chimique de France) will award a prize to a young researcher in 2025! The laureate of the SCF-ChemBio JCJC award will be invited to give an oral presentation at the ICBS/ECBS2025 symposium, which will be held in Paris on October 6–9, 2025, at Sorbonne University. The laureate will receive their award during the symposium and will be exempt from the congress registration fees. The deadline is on January 15th, 2025. More details here: https://lnkd.in/eeJ_j3Ju

The winner will present his/her work at the ICBS/ECBS 2025 Trainee Symposium, which will take place in Paris on Oct 6, 2025. Dans le cadre d’une collaboration interdisciplinaire, les chimistes du Département de Chimie Moléculaire de Grenoble, de l’Institut Curie d’Orsay et de l’institut Femto-ST de Besançon, en partenariat avec les biologistes de l’Institut de Pharmacologie et de Biologie Structurale, remettent en question la reconnaissance de l’anticorps commercial iMab pour détecter la structure d’ADN i-motif. Ces travaux, qui suscitent un débat important sur l’existence de cette structure dans les cellules, invitent à reconsidérer les méthodes utilisées pour son identification.
