Schimenti Construction proudly announces the completion of PUMA Group's second North American flagship store in Las Vegas, a 25,000-square-foot, three-level retail space at the BLVD Las Vegas on the iconic Strip. Opened during the Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix, the store features cutting-edge attractions, including an F1 racing simulator, interactive arcade, customization studio, and a "Vegas Shop" offering exclusive merchandise. Built in collaboration with Colkitt Architecture and Puma's internal team, the flagship blends sports, fashion, and technology to create an immersive shopping experience. The Schimenti team attended this year’s Procore Technologies Groundbreak 2024 in Denver, Colorado. It has been a pleasure connecting with industry professionals and exploring innovations shaping the future of construction. Schimenti Construction partnered with Michelin-starred restaurant Eleven Madison Park to renovate the former back-of-house mezzanine into the Clemente Bar, an intimate dining space featuring a breakout vegan menu and unique drink selection from its downstairs counterpart. Spanning 3,300 SF, the renovation focused on creating a high-end, exclusive environment enhanced by nearly every wall featuring custom millwork. Towards the end of the project, the space, named initially “Shojin Bar,” was renamed to honor Francesco Clemente, the artist whose paintings adorn the room.  The project was successfully completed within 20 weeks, creating a truly unique and artistic dining environment. #SchimentiBuilt

Schimenti proudly accepted our honors at the ENR Regional Best Projects Awards Breakfast in New York City today. Representing our team, Executive Vice President James Harrison and Senior Project Manager Ryan Cook attended the ceremony, where we received the 2024 ENR New York Award of Merit for Renovation/Restoration for the Live Nation Entertainment Brooklyn Paramount Theater project and the Award of Merit for Small Project for APL (Athletic Propulsion Labs). These esteemed awards underscore our commitment to excellence, from overcoming project challenges and maintaining top safety standards to advancing construction and design quality that positively impacts our industry and community. Today concludes ESOPtober, a month dedicated to celebrating and engaging our employee-owners as we mark our third year as an ESOP company. The month featured educational events and activities, including a company-wide ESOP t-shirt design contest and leadership-led sessions highlighting employee ownership's benefits. ESOPtober also coincides with Construction Inclusion Week, strengthening our impact as teams across locations held charity drives to donate clothing and personal care items to local communities on both coasts. This week, The Home Depot celebrated the grand opening of its new location on 61st Street and 1st Avenue in New York City. Our Schimenti project team was honored to join the Friends and Family event ahead of the public opening, marking the successful relocation from the former 59th Street site. Schimenti proudly announces that APL (Athletic Propulsion Labs) has been named Retail Renovation of the Year by VMSD. This recognition celebrates the successful transformation of a building in New York's SoHo-Cast Iron Historic District into APL's second retail location. The design-forward shoe boutique elegantly combines modern luxury with the area's architectural heritage. Our team collaborated closely with AL-JAWAD PIKE to bring this 3,800-square-foot vision to life.
