FRIDAY TO SHOW OFF!!! Diesel in Aventura Mall: The 6,148-squarefoot space displays modern aesthetics and a bright, fun atmosphere, emulating the spirit of the Miami market. Energy-efficient solar panels can be found throughout the store, as well as polycarbonates and antique oak. The solar panel façade draws power from the mall’s overhead natural lighting, illuminating the Diesel sign above the entrance. Accessories fixtures also have solar panels that draw power from the store’s overhead lighting, which illuminates LED lights that spotlight the merchandise inside. Not only is the design innovative, but the system conserves energy to reduce the day to-day energy consumption of the store.
