Here are the top highlights if you want to just skim through! 1️⃣ Funding Challenges Persist CEE startups raised €360M, marking a 35% drop YoY, with a sharp 54% decline in deal volume. The absence of mega-rounds and cautious investor sentiment are reshaping the region’s ecosystem. 2️⃣ Poland, Estonia, and Lithuania Lead the Charge These three countries accounted for nearly 50% of Q3’s deal flow. Poland led with 45 rounds, while Estonia and Lithuania held their ground with 16 and 14 rounds, respectively. 3️⃣ Sectors Drawing Investor Attention AI, SaaS, Financial Services, Web3, and Biotech dominated the funding landscape, showcasing the region’s focus on scalable tech-driven solutions. 4️⃣ September Stood Out September 2024 saw the highest activity, with €216M raised across 40 rounds.
